Dnepr seeing the road again
This bike has just come here from the Ukraine. It had some issues but I got a great deal on it. New Pekar carbs, refit the piston wrist pins and adjusted the messed-up electronic ignition. Still have some rejetting to do but running much better. Still waiting on docs from the DMV before I can get it on the road.

Just bought a 1963 Trojan Sea Breeze and moving it from Rio Vista to Antioch. My buddy is manning the helm here. Engines loafing at 1500 rpm doing 13mph.

Bought this wanderlodge that had been sitting for several years. New air filter, battery. Cranked until oil pressure rose to 60 and one squirt of ether and it fired right up.

I just got my sport pilot license the week before and my step-son and I flew from Rosamond (L00) to Casa Grande (CGZ). We stopped for the night at Blythe and headed out early Saturday for the fly-in. Fire tankers from Fox field fighting the Station fire in Los Angeles

These fire tankers were working the Station fire. WJF is so close to the fire, the planes would return every 30 minutes for the next load. 15 minutes on the ground and they would be back up again. Great for fire fighting, terrible for pilot workload.

My daughters ship, the USS Pearl Harbor was back from deployment and I got to cruise with it the last day. The navy transferred me and 20 others sailors family by LCAC (assault hovercraft) to the ship 3 miles offshore. I was lucky enough to get the seat behind the crew. We ended up spinning for 40 minutes waiting for the 2 LCACs on the ship to vacate. I will post more video of LCAC ops from onb...
I worked for Aerolights....I did alot of the engineering and design on that aircraft in spite of the asshole Larry Newman

Raymond Pontremoli would love to have a 2 seater version with back country (no airstrip) take off and landing capabilities. I would think alot of people would be interested.

How much rans s-12?
I'd like to use a VW motor on this. Or a bmw motorcycle engine. Anyone have any practical experience with these power plants and the S12? Or what study resource I can access? Thks very much!
NO, and why? The best engine is the Rotax 582 or Rotax Rick's King Kong 670 92 hp engine. Others are way too heavy. The 912 is too loud! I've had both.

Honestly very strange to see 555 pushers. I have am the second original owner of a 38 foot "wanderbee"lodge. All wanderlodge sourced parts though... Front engine 555. This one sounds pretty cool man.
Wow, I have not seen another pusher of this vintage. I have 35ft 1970 pusher, I was told it was one of 7 made [for that year I am assuming] As you know, most our forward control engines. Would love to see more pictures of your rig. take care

Thanks for posting this video. Nice day for boating in the delta, plus a nice boat to take from one delta spot to another. No sweethearts along for the ride, but, with such a lovely cruiser, all you would have to do do is to sloooooowly cruise past a big dock with bored ladies waiting for you and keep your eyes open. Enjoy many happy miles.

very nice great job guys nice 2 c and here those J-34s and PandW R-3350s iam a reloader 4 the CDF and its nice 2 c the old P2Vs still goeing strong back in the 70s i reloaded airtankers 4 hemet vally tanker-60 a DC-7B was Based at stockton ATB i reloaded B-17s, S-2Fs,C-199s, DC-4s,6s 7s even a TBM. now the tuboe props r takeing over. i understand that they retired some of the earle modeles of the P-2s but lots still on roster.nice job take care.
